Pop-up craft pages in black and white or color

For Age 3+ Prep: Download craft pages. Make copies onto card stock. Safety tip: Do the cutting ahead of time, and keep scissors and cutting tools out of reach of children. Page 1 Angel: Using a precision cutter or craft blade carefully cut across bottom of angel's garment, and cut around angel's head, neck and shoulders to dashed lines. Page 2: Cut out arms and wings. Making Craft: Child colors craft pages. Help child fold cover of card in half vertically. Angel: Pre-crease the diagonal dashed lines, pushing dashed line away from you. (Fold along dashed lines to make them a "valley". Dotted lines become a "mountain"). Repeat with center vertical fold. Pull angel's garment towards you, folding on dotted line (extending the fold through the face). Fold card closed lining up edges, making sure folds are folding on the lines. Wings/Arms: Let child choose the bent or extended arm. Place arm at the top of the corresponding wing. Help child fold back tabs and tape both on angel on diagonal lines. (See photo). Cover: Glue cover to the back of the card everywhere except behind the angel. Re-crease folds on arm and wing tabs to keep them going back when you open the card. Help child write the name of the recepient of card on on the cover, and sign their name on card.
